Do I still need a lab?

For a fast answer on-site, our XRF point-and-shoot testing gives you the result without waiting on a lab. If you'd like formal confirmation in writing — for a contract, council or peace of mind — we send a sample to a NATA-accredited laboratory on request, so you get both speed and certainty.

What is XRF point-and-shoot technology?

We use the microPHAZIR Asbestos Analyzer — a non-destructive, handheld 'point and shoot' XRF gun, the same kind of technology used by Australian Government departments. A technician tests suspect materials on-site and in about 10 seconds it advises whether it's asbestos and what type, so there's no cutting out samples and waiting on a lab.

What is NATA accreditation?

NATA is Australia's national accreditation body for laboratories. A NATA-accredited result is the recognised standard for definitive asbestos identification.

What if the result is positive?

Your result comes with a plain-English explanation and next steps. If removal is needed, we can arrange licensed removal and an independent clearance certificate.
